First Things First

It's ashamed to take a supplementary exam for this month. I felt like I was running out of control. It was my first time ever that take supplementary exam in university. Asking to myself and look back to the past about what have I done. These things come out: lack of time management, lack of prioritizing things, and lack of self control. These have taken controlled over myself and what I did was completely wrong. I chose not to review the lesson for exam, but learning guitar, hanging out with friends instead of joining the class and reading other stuffs rather then reading assignment project. Then the exam day almost arrived, I hadn't been prepared anything yet. I couldn't concentrate on lesson the night before. I fell the test.  It was a really eyes-opening experience. Now I know how important it is to learn how to prioritize things and balance between school work and leisure.

Honestly, everyone at the age of us, I think, are very busy from day to day. You've got lots of things to do such as: reviewing lesson after school or doing homework, you've gotta spend sometime with friends, doing housework and some of you maybe have to work to earn money for self survival like me and a lots of other things you can say. However, even there are lots of things to do and you think you don't have enough time to do it the best thing to do, I recommend, is to learn to prioritize your tasks and putting first things first.

By learning to prioritize things and managing time, you will be able to put your first things come first and make your life be in controlled. You will never miss the most important thing that should be done.

Let's start by having a small goal or doing a To-Do list which will guide you through all the day. Spending a few minutes before going to bed and think about what you should do tomorrow and put them in chronological order on a small piece of paper or note book. Then go back to your note regularly to check whether you have finish all of the points you have put the night before or not. If yes, cross it out and say "Yeah, I've done it. You will feel great because of your accomplishment. Do it everyday for around 15 days in a roll you will get into habit. Not more then one month after getting into the habits, you will see a progress and know that you are in control and things are getting done easily.
